Lavender Fields: Paint & Sip

In this 90-minute class, you will receive personalised coaching from a professional artist as you work step-by-step through creating an acrylic painting of a photo of your choice, using a projector for that initial helping hand!

Absolutely loved this class and would definitely recommend. I was initially a bit nervous due to my lack of experience/talent with painting, however Romy was a fabulous and encouraging teacher who was there to answer any questions and offer advice. We started the class with a few quick mindfulness activities to get us relaxed and before I knew it I was so absorbed in the painting process. All of the thoughts and worries that were swirling through my mind prior to the class had vanished. I only wish the class went for longer - time flew by! What a great experience in a very welcoming and peaceful environment :)

Had SUCH a wonderful time painting at MasterPeace Art School. If I'm honest, I was really nervous about going because I haven't been to an art class since university. Even then I hadn't ever attended a class outside of my time in education because because it was outside of my comfort zone. I felt so welcome and the space was cosy and intimate. We went through a guided meditation before our main art making and all of my anxieties, in that moment, softened. I had to keep reminding myself to paint because I was enjoying the conversation too much!

I booked MasterPeace for my team’s Christmas offsite this year and we absolutely loved it. We were each invited to paint a photo of our choice. The light boxes are brilliant for beginners like us, they made it feel as though we could all have a go and not be intimidated by not knowing where to start. Some of us haven’t painted since we were children. The Prosecco and nibbles are a really nice touch.

The space is beautiful, being sat in a gallery means there’s inspiration wherever you look. Romy our teacher (and a talented artist herself) was so professional, welcoming and encouraging. We all left with framed paintings and felt proud of our efforts !

Will it Make the Boat Go Faster?

Our entire company went to this venue for a team building day. We were immediately welcomed with food/drink and split off into two separate groups (more experienced painters downstairs, beginners upstairs) and the downstairs group were able to project an image from their mobile phone onto a canvas whilst the upstairs group chose from a wide selection of images to reconstruct. Zena and her team were extremely kind, encouraging and helpful and we had an amazing time doing something different as a group and would recommend it to any company wanting to bring their teams together outside of the office. A really beautiful studio space. Myself and Helen visited Thursday evening for an art class on fundamentals of painting and mindfulness. Will held our 1.5 hours class, taking us through some fun and interactive drawing exercises, followed by some really relaxing meditation that soon lead onto us being let loose on our own painting.

Will was a brilliant teacher and host. He guided us through the painting basics, kept conversation between everyone flowing whilst importantly keeping our Prosecco topped up. Can’t really complain with that can ya!

The studio is stunning, it's the perfect space to recalibrate after work and connect creatively. The details are A*, from the beautiful gowns to the prosecco and fun, classy mezze. The materials and paint provided are super high quality and easy to work with. Also, it’s lovely to see the MasterPeace team’s work on the walls to (as inspiration!)
My favourite thing about the class is the guided meditation. Our instructor, Madeleine, really sets up a space of tranquillity that encourages a really focussed mediation. From this place of calm, starting the ‘masterpeace’ felt unintimidating and I felt at ease to experiment and explore. Throughout the class, she’s both funny and receptive to the classmates and I felt super supported by her knowledge, especially of colour.
I will definitely be recommending this to.. any one, everyone, all of em!

MasterPeace gives you the most incredible, calming experience after a busy day; it's rare that one actually gives themselves enough time to paint, or express any creativity, and this studio was just lovely. The instructors were helpful and friendly - we had Harriet - without being didactic, and the nibbles and bubbles were an added bonus. Painting wise, we used a light box to trace the outline of a photo, enabling you to focus on the activity of painting itself.
I came away with a framed painting that makes me smile every time I look at it.

I attended a painting workshop at MasterPeace studios taught by Marianne, and it was the most brilliant way to spend a morning. The venue is gorgeous - filled with light and a wonderful, relaxing place to be. The class, too, was brilliant.

I haven't painted in about 15 years, and following Marianne's expert tuition (and some clever techy hacks!) managed to create something that I was proud of. Marianne also gave us some wonderfully helpful tips on looking at colour and on using acrylic paints.

I booked a beginners painting class with Marianne.
Marianne, Zena, Georgie and the rest of the crew were so welcoming and warm. They thought of every little detail to make the experience so peaceful and heart warming. The space was stunning and really added to the experience.

We started off with a calming mindful practise and then moved on to some warm up sketching exercises. After which we dived in to painting. Marianne was so helpful and patient. I'm a complete beginner and not once did I feel insecure in any way.

I had such an enjoyable and mindful morning and I'm feeling restored and energized after just an hour and a half painting. They've really encouraged me to be more creative. Looking forward to hanging my painting in my living room.

The whole experience from beginning to end has been meticulously thought out to ensure you have the most relaxing and beneficial time. The space itself is beautiful and it is a blessing to be able to switch off and play with paints for a while. Enjoyed the class and I thought the teacher was very encouraging, but I thought the classes could have been slightly longer than 90 minutes, to give us more time to finish the painting. The session was well integrated with technology, although it primarily catered for iPhones/Apple devices, which was slightly frustrating - some time was taken setting up my gear with my android phone. The venue was fantastic and overall, an enjoyable experience!

Projector Painting Workshop

It’s not just a life drawing class… It’s a self-acceptance workshop!
 
We use beautiful models of different body shapes and sizes.  In this workshop, you will learn a variety of drawing techniques, guided by a professional artist. From quick sketches to thorough studies, you will have lots of chances to sketch & play.

Body-Postitive Life Drawing Workshop

In this 90-minute class, you will receive personalised coaching from a professional artist as you work step-by-step through creating an acrylic painting of a photo of your choice, using a projector for that initial helping hand!

Why not paint a portrait of each other? or a special place you want to reminisce together? You can choose from any photo on your phone to take inspiration from: adding your own creative flair as you go.

This class is a brilliant way for absolute beginners through to more advanced artists to find their creative flow. 

And don't worry if you consider yourself someone who 'couldn't draw a stickman'. By using our projectors, which connect to your phone and cast the image onto your canvas board, you can outline your photo effortlessly and be painting in no time. You'll be amazed by the result!

Everything you need to create will be provided. All painting equipment and materials are yours to take home so you can keep your creative practice going. Including a picture frame for your beautiful artwork. Come away with your beautiful masterpiece feeling proud, while connecting with your partner!
